Craig Buchanan
CF-L1 Trainer, Kids CrossFit Trainer
About Craig Buchanan
As a local farm boy, I have always enjoyed outdoor activity and sport. I never even thought about doing anything for the sake of “exercise” alone. Some time later, as a full time farmer, husband, and father of three, life caught up with me, and I found myself looking for a way to “get in shape”. I found Crossfit when Iron Up opened early in 2016, and I was immediately hooked. [···]

Brit Miller
CF-L1 Trainer, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist
About Brit Miller
I am Brit Miller. I am a CF-L1 Trainer and currently live in Robinson, IL with my husband David and two boys, Cade and Coda. My current position is a Corrective Exercise Specialist for Mobility Physical Therapy and Wellness.
Growing up, I was always an athlete. I played multiple sports but softball is where I excelled. I had the pleasure of competing at both the Junior College and Division 1 collegiate level and learned so much about life as an athlete. I loved everything about competing and a part of me went missing after I stopped. After college, I became a wife and mother of 2 beautiful boys. In 2012, I became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and worked in the hospital setting for 5 years while also coaching Junior High softball and helping with high school as well. In 2017, I was introduced to Crossfit Iron Up and I knew then that this gym was where I was meant to be. I fell in love with the "community" it provided and I found myself able to work on myself so that I could be a better wife, mother and person. I also began competing again, which is something I truly love doing. This gym is more than a gym to so many of us. We are all fighting our own fight in this life but when we walk into those gym doors, we fight together. We support each other, we encourage each other, we push each other to never give up. I became a Crossfit Level 1 trainer not only because I love the sport and want to help others become the best athletes they can be, but because I want to inspire and encourage others to keep striving to be the best that they can be in this life and that anything is possible. -
